Black and Red Seminar-On the second Saturday of each month we hold our seminar comparing Pinot Noirs from volcanic and sedimentary soils. You can read more about it here. Members and guests can attend for $15.00. You must rsvp to steve@lenneestate.com in advance.

Pick up party-Our next Rootstock release is in the last week of June and we will celebrate with a pick up party on Thursday, June 26th, from 5:30-8:30. We will have appetizers and taste all the club selections along with a few other wines. This will be your chance to taste the new release, the 2006 Karen’s Pommard Pinot Noir. Because of the cost of the wine, $68.00, it will not be a wine club selection. I made two barrels of this wine and I think it represents the two best barrels of the entire 2006 vintage.

July 4th-Well I can’t say this will be a tradition, but since the 4th falls on a Friday and I want to get my dogs out of the city(they hate fireworks), I have decided to open the vineyard to club members. This will be an informal event, bring your own food and we will have wine for sale. The wines we sell will be the only alcoholic beverages allowed that night. You must rsvp. Other than the wine purchased, there is no cost for the event. From 7 to 10 or so.
