The cinq éluis(pronounced sank aloo) Pinot Noir represents the best barrel from each of our five different clonal blocks.
The 2012 Cinq Eluis has mixed berry fruit, mocha and sandlewood aromatics. The wine touches the beginning, middle and end of the palate with a mouthwatering density and long finish. Our best wine to date.
The Cinq Eluis Pinot Noir has a dense palate and will stand up to foods with a higher fat content. But this wine should be the star of the mean and a good rule of thumb is the more complex the wine the simplier the food should be. Pair with lamb, duck and beef that is simply cooked.
