Lenné Estate tasting flight

The tasting flight costs $25, a fee that is waived with any two bottle purchase or wine club join. We typically pour a chardonnay and four pinot noirs, usually with some horizontal or vertical pairings.

January 2024 tasting flight 

2021 Scarlett’s Reserve Chardonnay    $65
Floral & honeysuckle aromatics. Bosc pear. Creamy, velvety mouthfeel. Aged 10 months in oak puncheons, then an additional 8 months at 34° in a steel tank (over-wintering) to create an exceptionally smooth texture.

2021 LeNez pinot noir        $45
Our most approachable pinot noir, blended from all five clones on our vineyard, with a majority from the Dijon clones. Red cherry and herbal notes on the nose, with plum and musk flavors. Tangy finish.

2021 Eleanor’s 114 Dijon clone        $60
The Dijon 114 is a feminine and fruit forward pinot clone. The Lenné vineyard’s rocky soil produces depth and density sufficient to let this clone stand alone. Dark chocolate, white pepper, candied orange, and strawberry Starburst flavors. Pungent and jammy on the finish, with lingering tanginess.

2019 South Slope Select pinot noir            $65
Blended from our two most popular clones, this wine combines the black fruit and boldness of the Pommard, with the velvety tropical fruit notes of the 115 Dijon clone. 2019 was a cool and wet year, and the wines show classic Burgundian traits. Herbal aromatics, black tea, forest floor, and mushroom flavors. The notably smooth texture will only increase with bottle aging. 

2021 South Slope Select pinot noir          $60
Our classic blend, from a fantastic vintage. 2021 was a hot and dry year, and this vintage shows bright, bold fruit notes, with lively acidity and exceptional balance for such young wines.
