Lenné Estate was founded in 2000 on a ferociously rocky hillside in the northern Willamette Valley. Our grapes have always been sourced exclusively from our 15.5 acre hillside, and we make our wines in a minimalist style, allowing the terroir to show through while preserving the profoundly rich, fruit-forward flavors.
What sets Lenné apart from other Oregon Pinot Noirs? Location, location, location. Our site is a steep, south-facing slope situated at the ideal elevation and orientation, and our uniquely difficult soil creates deep-rooted vines which produce small-clusters of grapes with amazing character and complexity. Lenné wines have a distinct mocha-like aroma, a strong mid-palate texture, and a lingering finish.
Due to ongoing construction of our tasting room and patio grounds, we have discontinued wine tastings on our vineyard location as of December 16, 2023. We have rented a space in the nearby town of Carlton, and will offer full tasting room operations there beginning in mid-January 2024. We will operate out of that space until our vineyard tasting room renovations are complete and we can hold a grand reopening in Spring, 2024. Please see our Visit page to schedule an appointment to taste our wines in 2024.
