The Dijon115 clone is one of the most populare in the Willamette Valley, and it produces some of the most fruit-forward, juicy, tropical flavored pinot noirs from Oregon. "Jill" is is named after the mother of Lenné's co-founder Karen Lutz, the wife of "Lenny," whose face graces our logo.
Plenty to like about this nose that sports high tone aromas of dark cherry, black raspberry and dried red rose petal. Mid-weight plus in style, offering a burst of black cherry and blackberry fruit flavors underlain with a burst of acidity for freshness.

This bottling opens with a fun greeting of cherry Fruit Stripe Gum and mocha that somehow includes Old World notes of truffle and saddle leather. Its velvety texture wraps around flavors of raspberry and Rainier cherry in delicious fashion that picks up a sense of earthiness while still hanging onto its finish of red currant.

The 2019 vintage was mild and damp, with rain in July, August, and September. This moderate season meshed nicely with a medium-sized fruit set. A large fruit set would have yielded wines of mild and subdued characteristics, , but the smaller crop in this year ensured that all the fruit ripened beautifully, and the 2019 wines were complex and balanced even in their first year in the bottle. After several years aging, they are dense and supple, with a fruity tension and moderating notes of acidity.
